Licensed in 1920 to sell coffee and milk beverage’, Cafféllatte still continues to supply milk around Florence. In 1984, an organic bakery was added and the current café – one tiny room kitted out with rustic wood tables and chairs – was created. There are exhibits and magazines to look through. The caffélatte, served piping hot in giant bowls, are one of the city’s best!

This is the place for superb traditional ‘pasticceria’ or cakes. The thick ‘cioccolato caldo’ is also worth a try. Outside tables in the summer provide the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful weather relaxing whilst watching the world go by….

Website: Zona 15
Zona 15 is like a futuristic American diner with leather and chrome bar stools and a huge central spotlit bar area, with weird type of architecture. The food is decent, but the wine selection is much better. Open for lunch and dinner, serving drinks ’till late with a brunch offered on sundays, this place gots its name from the usual gathering of friends and staff around Caffe’ Sant’Ambrogio’s table 15.
