During the months of July and August, the city of Florence spoils its citizens and visitors with a two-month long free jazz festival, staging different concerts every night in Piazza SS Annunziata. The curators of the festival have combined jazz, world music, contemporary expressive and classical music concerts.

Part of the Jazz and Co festival, the Mini Festival of the Hammond Organ is a five-day gala dedicated to the electrical instrument which was born in the 1930s. Open-air concerts take place in Piazza Santa Maria Novella and Piazza Annunziata.
